GRI-Alleset and Anglo-French Drugs and Industries Ltd. Partner to Market and Distribute Alleset Drapes & Gowns in India
Enhancing its growth in the global healthcare marketplace, GRI-Alleset, through its Mumbai, India subsidiary, GRI Alleset India Pvt. Ltd., is pleased to announce joint marketing efforts with Anglo-French Drugs & Industries Ltd. (AFD) for GRI-Alleset’s disposable surgical drapes and gowns. This partnership brings GRI-Alleset’s worldwide product development experience to the Indian market while delivering the global standard of cost-conscious protection for both patients and staff. Mr. Dhruv Jangla, Director of GRI-Alleset India Pvt. Ltd. stated, “Anglo-French has an excellent market reputation and a vast distribution network throughout India. With the heightened awareness of hospital acquired infections, emerging markets are increasingly shifting to disposable medical products. This partnership is the perfect approach for the Indian market – a superior line of drapes and gowns, married with an exceptional sales and marketing distribution team.”
GRI-Alleset’s line of drapes and gowns are constructed with three layers of polypropylene non-woven fabric, making them highly resistant to tears and abrasion. The fabric is low-linting to curtail particle generation, which can contribute to bacterial transmission or foreign body contamination. The drapes and gowns provide excellent barrier protection from fluid strikethrough and to help minimize the risk of cross-contamination and infection. “This line of drapes and gowns will give AFD a foray into operating theaters across India with a superior, disposable product that will contribute to improving patient care and helping to reduce infections and lower hospital labor costs,” said Mr. Ritwik Pal, AFD’s VP of Sales.
This agreement grants AFD exclusive distribution rights throughout most of the Pan-Indian market covering both government and corporate hospitals.
